Niklas Bathe,18, is one of the youngest talent of Backbone Art. He found out about his passion for photography during a trip to Istanbul in 2014.
Photography makes him feel complete and is his soul‘s cure. His grandfather and uncle used to be a photographer and played an important role in his family‘s life. His uncle’s photos had a huge impact on his own artworks and style illustrating urbanization in a melancholic way, using black and white canvas to amplify this feeling.
In addition, Niklas shares new urban perspective by capturing architectonic structures, representing the order that can be found in every city but may be overlooked in all the tangle. Yet not all artworks are bound to this pattern because he wants the audience to discover their own sensation.
